Be sure to visit us at the Ribfest in Winston-Salem this weekend! Stop by and let us know what kind of trips you are interested in and when you'd like to see trips planned!
The temperature is climbing and the best relief we know is to spend some time on the water! Join Town to Trails on one of our Paddling Trips. Just click on the kayak to your left or the "Trips" button along the top of the page to see where we're going next.

We spent a great Sunday on the Creeper Trail this week and we are looking forward to many more weekends like this. Keep checking back here for photos of the group and our great day!

One of the unique things about Town to Trails is the seating arrangement in the bus. Instead of sitting in cramped seats, facing forward, and only talking to your seatmate, Town to Trails provides center facing seats that allow all the participants to converse together.
At Town To Trails, more than our bus is green. We promote eco-friendly methods of enjoying the outdoors, taking only memories and leaving only footprints. By traveling to our destinations on the bus, you are effectively reducing the carbon emissions that would result if everyone traveled in personal vehicles. On every trip with Town to Trails, participants recieve reusable water bottles and waste is recycled or composted whenever possible. Go green with us!
The weather is great and its time to get outside! The bus has been spotted around town sporting its green paint and the signage byLogoWear Professional. Upcoming trips are listed on the website and information can be found around town. Brochures, schedules and more are available at Ken's Bike Shop on Reynolda Rd, Paceline Bicycles on Country Club Rd, and Mock Orange Bikes on West End Blvd. Information is also available at the Thruway location of Great Outdoor Provisions. Look for the bus on the road and look for the schedule of upcoming trips.
We have a big green bus that seats 15 and we are looking forward to helping people spend more time outside. We have long enjoyed the outdoors ourselves, and we look forward to introducing and encouraging others to enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. Biking and hiking can be enjoyed year-round, while boating and skiing are somewhat more seasonal. The southeast offers such amazing outdoor resources and we are lucky to be so close to all of these views and opportunities.
